Slimming experts administer energy-boosting vitamin shots as part of four- or eight-week weight-loss programs. During the initial visit, they consult with clients, take body measurements, draft nutrition and exercise plans, and prescribe a one-month supply of an appetite suppressant, if needed. In weekly follow-up visits, staff members check on clients' progress with brief exams and provide additional B12 injections.
