Chefs and experts on Italian cuisine lead a walking tour that visit four restaurants and a few surprise stops along the way in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Tours start at Il Chiosco for housemade Roman meatballs and a bubbly glass of proseco before moving on to Cafe Bengodi. There, chefs share family secrets for making pizza dough as well as a complimentary slice and a cold Italian beer. At Al Boccalino, tourgoers receive a glass of sangiovese to sip and a recipe to study while watching pasta made by hand in the kitchen. The journey ends with a short walk to Caffè Umbria for a dessert of affogato: creamy gelato with a shot of espresso poured over it. Altogether, the tours last about an hour and 15 minutes and are offered Monday through Saturday at noon, 1:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.

Café Bengodi

A sidewalk patio with shaded seating flanks Café Bengodi's corner façade, appealing to passersby with promises of authentic Italian cuisine and al fresco dining. Chefs deliver on this promise by doling out antipasti rich with cheeses and salamis, then cooking mounds of homemade pastas and fresh Neapolitan pizzas. Espresso, beer, and wine accent the meal and allow patrons to propose toasts as a subtle way to drop a hint that they need a new toaster.

The Groupon Guide to: Pranks

Television prank shows have never been more popular. Old people are pranking young people, young people are pranking young people, and middle-age life is its own kind of twisted prank. Get in on the jocular action with these fun-loving pranks:

  • Dump out the prankee's shampoo and replace it with small, round lead pellets.
  • Replace the prankee's delicious, wet-centered eggs with useless hard-boiled eggs.
  • Set free all of your prankee's horses and valuable livestock.
  • Switch the contents of your prankee's suitcase with the contents of someone else's suitcase at the airport. You've actually pranked two people, you goofy monster.
  • Switch identities with your prankee (unless they have a criminal record or bad spouse).

Is anyone pranking middle-aged people?
