$7 for $14 Worth of Classic American Food

A USA Old Fashion burger is $4.99, broccoli alfredo with chicken or shrimp is $9.99, and a Grand Old Faithful breakfast platter of hash browns crowned with cheese, veggies, sausage, and two eggs is $8.99. See the full menu here.

Cafe USA

At Cafe USA, chefs pay homage to the hearty, fried fare of America, but not the heavy grease of some of the country's signature grub. In oils free of unhealthy trans-fats, the cooks sear pure ground beef into burgers before packing them between toasted buns or the crispy ends of a Davy Crockett patty melt. Their USA specials actually hail from beyond domestic borders, including stir-fry and spaghetti with meatballs. At breakfast, they flip fluffy pancakes and press tasty waffles or load plates with Country Debris, a mélange of biscuits, home fries with gravy, bacon bits, sausage, eggs, and silver-dollar pancakes. A party room and banquet room accommodate private festivities, such as celebrating the number of rooms that exist with a cake that hilariously displays a square with five toes protruding from one side.

The Groupon Guide to: Sniffing Out Baloney

Though most folks are honest, the occasional huckster may try to swindle you. Suss out their malarkey with this Groupon Guide to sniffing out baloney:

Your employee is late because his grandmother died again:
Sounds like a buncha hogwash.

A door-to-door salesman say his vacuum cleaner makes all others obsolete:
This guy’s trying to feed you applesauce.

The oil-change guy says you need a complete engine overhaul:
Motor oil? More like banana oil. Tell him no dice.

A shifty local politician says he’s looking out for you:
Poppycock and tommyrot.

Your blind date can’t see you again because you compulsively throw around antiquated terms for skepticism:
Who needs 'em? They’re clearly fulla horsefeathers—better to die alone than get hoodwinked.

How can you tell when someone is lying to you?
