Can a new user begin with a 35mm opposed to digital camera? Im trying to purchase a camera for the purposes of this class and beyond and am having trouble figuring out what kind to purchase. I understand that this is a digital photography beginners class, but can I come in with a 35mm and be ok? Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you! :)

Hi- My wife is an experienced photographer - BFA from PCA (UArts)... FIne Art photagrapher, recently doing weddings and events as well... She does not need help with composition, etc, she has recenetly made the move to digital (1-2 years). Has D700 and D200.... She needs help with advanced camera and also lightroom/computer stuff - (NOT computer savvy... Might you be able to help with this in a 3 h our session? Thanks - Michael

Sounds like one of my other classes would benefit her more. The intro class is geared towards beginners. Take a look at some of the other classes offered at http://www.photodx.com/wordpress/?page_id=436. They are currently being offered at a discount.
