The Fine Print

Choose from Three Options

  • $19 for four salsa or bachata classes for an individual (a $50 value)
  • $35 for four salsa or bachata classes for a couple (a $80 value)

  • $99 for five hours of one-on-one private latin-dance lessons (a $200 value)

Group classes take place Tuesday (salsa at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.; bachata at 8 p.m.), Wednesday (salsa at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.; bachata at 8 p.m.), and Thursday (salsa at 7 p.m. and bachata at 8 p.m.) Private lessons are by appointment and can be scheduled at various times during the week.

Calirumba Dance Company

At Calirumba Dance Company, experienced dance instructors and choreographers teach students of all levels the fundamentals of Latin dance. Named for the founders’ home in Cali, Colombia, the studio is the brainchild of dancers from the company Yurumangui, who, after showing off their dance skills around the globe, decided to share their talents with those eager to learn. The staff hosts hour-long classes in salsa, salsa Colombia style, and the tango multiple times per week, and even invites children to try their hand at dancing or eating salsa.
