What is a standard tint? Is it different than a tint I got on my last car that was the darkest one you can get and still be legal.

I currently have my windows tinted on my 204 F-150. I need the front two windows re-tinted. Does the cost include removal of old tint? If not, how much would that total be to remove and then replace the tint on the two windows? Thank You.
