How many quarts does my 2006 F-150 take? How much is each additional quart with the Synthetic Oil(5 quarts with Groupon)?

debra a. asked 6 months, 6 days, 12 hours, and 21 minutes ago - 1 answer

James P.

Debra, The 2006 Ford F-150 has three different engine sizes. The 4.2 liter and the 4.6 liter both hold 6 quarts of oil. The 5.4 liter holds 7 quarts of oil. Each additional quart of full synthetic oil costs $8.99. So you would be looking at either an additional $8.99 or $17.98 depending on the engine size. I hope this helps and I hope we see you soon.

Is 6 quarts enough for a Chevy Surburban ?

Sally L. asked 6 months, 6 days, 17 hours, and 9 minutes ago - 1 answer

James P.

Sally, To the best of my knowledge, six quarts of oil should suffice for your Suburban.

I have a 2002 Ford F250, 7.3 turbo diesel, can you let me know the cost for an oil change. Thanks, Wayne

wayne z. asked 6 months, 6 days, 17 hours, and 27 minutes ago - 1 answer

James P.

Hi Wayne. If you were to purchase the standard oil change package on Groupon, you would pay $82.19 in the store, including tax, for your 15 quart 15w40 Rotella oil change with filter. The regular price for the oil change and the additional service is $140.12 so this would be a savings of $41.93. We hope to see you soon Wayne.

I have a Lexus ES 330 2006 do you handle these cars and which package would I need to buy? Also does this include the location at IH-10west in LeonSprings?

Stephanie M. asked 6 months, 6 days, 18 hours, and 18 minutes ago - 1 answer

James P.

Stephanie, According to our sources, your 2006 Lexus ES 330 takes 5 quarts of a standard 5w30 weight motor oil. However, you do have the option to better protect the engine with the Mobil One Full Synthetic oil. It is one of the best motor oils you can use in today's automotive market. Either way you get a great deal today with Groupon. These Groupons are good at all of our locations including the location in Leon Springs.

my car has grease fittings, do you charge extra to lubricate the fittings when you do the oil and filter change

jimmie r. asked 6 months, 6 days, 18 hours, and 23 minutes ago - 1 answer

James P.

Jimmie R., Great question. Yes. All grease fittings are lubed when we perform our oil and filter change.

I have a 2001 BMW 330ci; will the $38 cover a basic oil change including filter? I don't know if it takes anything extra or a special filter.

Araceli H. asked 6 months, 6 days, 18 hours, and 45 minutes ago - 1 answer

James P.

Araceli, Thank you for taking an interest in Car-X. Your BMW requires 7 quarts of full synthetic oil and does take a specialty filter. If you purchase the full synthetic deal today you would only pay an additional $16.11 at the store due to the extra quarts of oil and the differance in the price of the filter. Please feel free to call me if you have any other questions. James. 210-340-3888.
