Can this groupon be used for a whole cheesecake? If yes, how much is the average whole cheesecake?

Whole cakes are not part of this deal: ONLY Cheesecake Slices and Mini Cups.

Any 4 assorted combination of available slices. 2 mini-cups can equal one slice.

Whole Cheesecakes are available (Castlefield Factory location/ has more availability OR order through Yorkville). They can range from Small ($20) to Large ($36) as an average… prices vary depending on size and ingredients.

I wanted to confirm, is the groupon good for any 4 slices? Because many slices cost more than $5.  
In other words, is the groupon based on the regular pricing or is it 4 slices per groupon?

ONLY for this special promotion, in order to simplify the deal - all slices of any flavour, are valued at $5.

I was about to print my Groupon, but it specifically warns me that I can only use it a day after the day of purchase (will be tomorrow)!

I thought this rule changed on Groupon (and that we can use it on the same day now!) Could you confirm? Thanks!

That’s because the deal will be ongoing for 48 hours over the weekend. Redemption is valid only after the deal closes.

Tomorrow it moves out of main and to the “more deals” section.

How many mini-cups can I get with this deal? If two are equal to the same as one regular slice of cake, would that mean its equal to 8 minicups?

Yes. 8 mini-cups can equal 4 slices.

Hi there, just re-confirming the terms and conditions, it says valid for carryout only. So this means if I were to get this coupon I can use it just for takeout orders? Also not valid for any drinks like hot chocolate or so?

The deal as listed is for take-out (carryout) only.

For Groupon customers that redeem their voucher at our Factory location (ONLY at Castlefield), if you decide to stay for a sit down meal while picking up your slices, we are now offering that meal tax-free as a bonus to this deal.

The results of today’s deal enlightened us to extend more savings in to other services at the Café.

Yes, there will be a $1.30 tax on a $10 purchase upon redeeming/pickup. "under The Fine Print, the main 4 points are reposted below….sorry about that, it’s a function of our HST, retail law and standard for all deals on Groupon in Ontario with retail purchase under a set amount of product purchased.

• Not valid for cash back (unless required by law).
• Must use in one visit.
• Doesn’t cover tax or gratuity.
• Can’t be combined with other offers.

Hows the selection at each location? Does the Castlefield/Factory store have a wider selection of cakes for this promotion?

Also, are the cakes sold at both locations made on site?

The Factory will always have a wider available selection.

That said, in prepping for this deal our team have coordinated delivery logistics to supply the Yorkville location more frequently than under normal conditions. There is no cake baking at Yorkville.

The café though in Yorkville does have a different sit down menu then at Castlefiled as each location caters to that areas environment is where we would differ. All of our cake flavours though will be at both locations as best we can supply.

With a large deal in the works to prepare for, if there is a particular flavour you’re looking to pick up from the Yorkville location, it may be best to check in with them by phone in the early few weeks of the redemption period for what available assorted cakes they have that day.

Cake baking at the Factory is scheduled daily but not every flavour in our portfolio is baked every day. As well, some of our cakes can take more than a couple of days to prepare. With this deal we will modulate scheduling to accommodate our more popular varieties as we go.

You’d may like to know that if coming to redeem at our Factory location there is free parking available.

Will I pay taxes on only $10.00 ( what I’ve paid for the voucher) or will I pay on the $20.00(voucher worth value) ?

In haste I bought two vouchers under my name. I didn’t read the Fine Print about having a limit of 1 per person. Will I still only be sold and charged one voucher?

so we will get 4 slices of cake for this deal even if the cake is 6$ or soemthing? do we have to confirm with server?

I believe your options are to appeal to Groupon to correct or deem the extra voucher to a friend. The purchase of the deal is actually a purchase with Groupon. We don’t have a direct transaction with you the customer for the deal. We are obligated however to collect HST on $10.
