This stop on the tour will be held on Saturday, September 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those younger than 12 receive free admission. The event will be sponsored by Kroger and Rudi's Gluten Free Bakery. Presenters will include Dr. Shanti Lynne Eswaran, a clinical lecturer who has studied celiac disease, and the owners of businesses that cater to people with celiac disease, including Heal Yourself Institute, Savorfull, and Natural Chef Meals. Exhibits will be on hand from vendors including Rumi's Passion, Bloomfield Farms, Uno Chicago Grill, Lifeway Kefir, and Woodchuck Hard Cider.

Celiac Awareness Tour

The Celiac Awareness Tour travels across the country to promote awareness of celiac disease and energize enthusiasm for gluten-free living. Each stop features presenters that range from medical experts who have studied celiac disease to vendors of gluten-free goods. Chefs demonstrate recipes that don't contain gluten or Cracker Jacks prizes. Guests can also flit from booth to booth sampling gluten-free items from both local and national manufacturers and merchants, such as Rudi's Gluten Free Bakery, Whole Foods, Lifeway Kefir, and Woodchuck Hard Cider.
