Austin Performance Fitness

To fitness trainer Jon Chacon, the first order of business with any client is building a sturdy foundation of strength. His boot camp, athletic training, and strength camp incorporate both strength training and conditioning with bursts of high-intensity exercise. Pared-down workouts in a spartan facility use tools, such as ropes and sandbags, that emphasize agility and functional strength—values familiar to Chacon, whose experience ranges from commercial fishing to the Marine Corps. He also guides clients with nutrition and supplement guidelines, as well as monthly weight and body fat measurements.
