Though Chelsea Grill of Hell's Kitchen migrated from Chelsea before settling at its current Ninth Avenue digs between 46th and 47th, the eatery's classic comfort food would feel at home in any neighborhood. Just as welcoming at 3 p.m. as at 3 a.m., Chelsea Grill greets guests with beers on tap, mimosas in the mornings, and freshly ground 10-ounce burgers hand pressed daily. Cooks prepare Chelsea scrambles—eggs with cream cheese, chives, and nova scotia salmon—as well as turkey burgers with stracchino cheese. Spookily, Chelsea Grill originally opened more than 20 years ago on Halloween, which is probably why it has the same vampire density as Transylvania.
