Commonly Asked Questions

I notice there are two different locations. Is the groupon good for both locations? What is the schedule like for the Loop's location groupon and are there showers available for use after classes? Thanks.

More Questions and Answers

I bought this groupon for the loop location since that was the address listed. I work downtown at the tribune and wanted to start this with a friend. (We both already purchased the groupons). I received an email today saying the address was wrong and this is only good at the Belmont location. I would like to do this but the only location that would work is the loop. Will you honor the groupon there or do I have to cancel my order?

Darren M. asked 9 months, 20 days, 20 hours, and 32 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jim G.

Due to a last minute legal complication the Loop location cannot open...Belmont only ...sorry on the confusion!! Was unforseen and beyond our control...

How does each session work? Is it a class with a program/agenda, or is it more like an open gym? If they are classes, and we cannot attend some of the sessions, would it be difficult to catch up? Is this groupon good for beginners who know nothing about Muay Thai? And are there beginner classes available? Lastly, how many people usually are there in a session? Thanks!

Danny C. asked 9 months, 21 days, 1 hour, and 48 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jim G.

The class has an agenda but there is no such thing as catching up...no beginning....no end

Is the loaner equipment free or is there a fee?

Samantha B. asked 9 months, 21 days, 15 hours, and 6 minutes ago - 1 answer

Jim G.

We have some loaner equipment (free) but it is not guaranteed available and for hygiene reasons recommend you use your own if possible...

Will there be any 12pm classes during the week and what time will Saturday class be? Sorry for all the questions, I do have a strong interest, but have a crazy schedule and just want to make sure I can make it consistently. Thanks.

Is there any plan to adjust the loop schedule to start classes a bit after work hours? 5:30 or 5pm. I'd love to buy, but hard for me to leave work this early.

Robin S. asked 9 months, 23 days, 2 hours, and 54 minutes ago - 1 answer

Patrick S.

Hi Robin! I'm very sorry, but their class schedule is only available as currently listed.

do we need to purchase any equipment like gloves? if we do, can we buy them elsewhere, or are we required to get them from the studio? thanks

stella w. asked 9 months, 23 days, 1 hour, and 52 minutes ago - 1 answer

Patrick S.

Hi Stella! The gym provides loaner equipment to students and offers a $10 discount on gloves, wraps, and shin pads to those who purchase them during their first class.

My wife and I are 50. Is that to old?:)

As with anything it depends how good shape you are in..but the short answer is no. I am 47 and train with the 20 year olds still ! Its all about doing your best. Younger people will likely find some things easier than us but that goes with anything. You work to your skill and athletic levels...but I will not lie...its not easy ;)
