As far as I can tell, this bus service does NOT have a pickup location in San Francisco. The closest location were in a separate jurisdiction, in a location with unfortunate access unless you have a car. Thus: advertising that it does have service from San Francisco, were deceptive… and IMO perhaps even constitute misrepresentation …with legal implications
I wrote comments regarding the previous ‘deal’. Those comments somehow got posted here instead. I protested against a bus service which claims to run from San Francisco… but [apparently] does not, that offended me. Best of luck to Chouet’s… the menu is enticing,…. miam miam…

The place was quite small (in contrast to the large and broad hall shown in the pics) with only 5 sits available at the bar. And I don’t even want to talk about the horrible meal. It was overpriced for the quality and especially portions. No taste at all. I’ve been to French restaurants before and I like it but this one has completely changed my opinion. The service was even worse, long wait for a meal, bread and butter came when we were almost done with our soup and were ready for the main entrée. Yeah and by the way if you order a clam chowder, expect some empty shells in your soup that just fills the space!
I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this horrible place.
The service was really non existent. We had a 7:30 reservation and was seated promptly. We had a female waitress that took our order 45 minutes after we sat down. Our appetizers finally came out at 8:30 followed by dinner at 9:20. We noticed that the diners that ordered from the prix fixed menu was served much quicker than our table because we ordered from the regular menu. If it wasn’t for the groupon coupon, we would never have selected this restaurant because the prices are high and the portions were very small. I would not recommend this place. And the frittes were the only French item on the menu.
My friend and I got there right at 5:30 (when dinner service starts) and were promptly seated in the cozy booth in the back, by ourselves and our drink order was taken. The staff were very attentive and we promptly got our drinks and a big bowl of bread on the table. Within a few minutes our order was taken and we were asked if we wanted more bread and drinks. A little bit later our appetizer came out (the lavender honey/balsamic ribs) and a few minutes later they were devoured because theywere so delicious. About 15-20 minutes later our entrees were ready and I asked for more bread and a drink refill. I had the lamb shoulder and my friend, the Kobe burger, and we both thought they were super yummy. The only gripe I have is that my piece of lamb shoulder was kinda small and it had a large mass of fat in it which made 2 bites of it basically inedible to me, but the rest was DELICIOUS, especially the pommes sarladaise.
If I didn’t have the Groupon, I would have never gone to this place. So, I guess it worked out good for both of us because Chouquet’s got new business from someone who would’ve never gone there, and because we had a really good meal!
So, the fine print has nothing specific about what time we need to visit – so I’m assuming a brunch is ok? 11am sort of time?
i recently went and was extremely dissapointed, besides the good groupon deal this place is too expensive for what it offers. The ribs were burnt, the service slow, and the main entrees rack of lamb and burger were nothing special. I was expecting something delicious but left unfufilled
Dang, I just realized this expires tomorrow. Is there some sort of grace period or is it a hard set expiration date?
I just now realized that mine expired too…. but I called and the guy that picked up the phone hesitantly said that he’s honor them until the end of the month. So – good luck!
Can I also use the groupon for lunch/brunch?
