A photographic memory is a blessing and a curse: you can remember everything, but none of it is open to interpretation. Share the burden every camera must carry with today's deal: for $45, you get a professional photography session from the bionic-eyed Christina Lundeen (a $510 total value). You can choose to redeem your Groupon at her studio in Brookside or schedule an appointment for her to come to you like lucid dreams of Baconnaise (Christina will travel to any location you like within a 20-mile radius of her studio). After your session, you'll receive a custom viewing appointment to choose your three favorite shots for retouching and placement on a CD ($300). You will also receive a DVD slideshow of all images taken ($60) and 15% off any physical prints of your photos.

Christina Lundeen is known for her portrait photography of blushing brides, families, puppies, children, adorably creepy ghost children, and children still inside their mothers. Christina shoots in both color and black and white to tailor each photo session to the subject, while still giving each one a fun and laid-back experience—generating the spontaneous moments that often make the best photos, as well as the best Old West saloon brawls. Feel like a model while posing in Christina's home studio, or arrange your shoot in the comfort of your own home and hearth or at a specified set of back-to-back benches in your favorite park (trench coat and code words optional).

While Christina Lundeen didn't invent the camera, that doesn't mean she won't someday. Put her nurturing directorial skills and time-freezing talents to the test by having her coax natural smiles out of your newborn baby, soon-to-be mom, high-school senior, or extended family. Besides capturing your soul in an easily portable format, photographic portraiture is a terrific way to reveal your best side in a controlled scenario and ensure that you'll have at least one Facebook photo of yourself where you're not hoisting a red plastic cup. Call ahead to schedule your appointment.

Groupon Says

Photogeist

Throughout the whole of nature, there are many elusive beings that cannot be properly photographed (vampires, ninjas, your girlfriend who goes to a different high school). Groupon paraphotographers were, however, able to uncover one irrefutable incident of ghost photography: the infamous Hansen Collection.

In 1978, amateur bat photographer Gregory Hansen was in his front yard one night when a mysterious white orb appeared in the sky over his home. Diverting his attention from a particularly active nest of Eptesicus fuscus, he began photographing the orb, which made no attempt to flee or conceal itself. Hansen continued to document the orb as it reappeared over his house, each night shrinking slightly "as though passing slowly into the spirit world," Hansen observed. On particularly cloudy nights, the orb would not be present, prompting Hansen to speculate that ghosts may be allergic to thunder.

Although skeptics have said, "I don't have time for this," and, "Seriously, are you five? I'm actually asking you if you are literally five years old," regarding Hansen's photos, die-hard Hansenites keep the truth alive through web-based communities and Obey The Orb street graffiti. Hansen tragically passed away in 2005, when he was struck by a roaring mechanical demon while crossing the street.
