Losing weight is a challenge almost as difficult as reading an entire dictionary or climbing a tree that's covered in canola oil. Enlist expert help with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $129 for two i-Lipo laser treatments (a $450 value)
  • $249 for four i-Lipo laser treatments (a $900 value)

During each 20-minute session, a technician contours the body and tightens the skin with an i-Lipo laser system, which is equipped with 36 laser diodes. A vacuuming effect gently massages the skin, helping to release fatty acids from within cells, while the laser's infrared light stimulates blood circulation and collagen production. The nonsurgical procedure requires no downtime and, for optimal results, should be scheduled twice a week for four weeks. Additional sessions may be needed, depending on the client’s goals.

Ciao Bella Medical Center and Spa

Since her days as a high-school basketball and track star, Dr. Benita Stephens has understood the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and weight. But it wasn't until she was a trained obstetrician and gynecologist with her own practice that she saw the damaging effects excess weight has on the body. Feeling inclined to help her overweight and obese patients, Dr. Stephens sprung into action, calling upon her extensive training in bariatric medicine to establish Ciao Bella Medical Center and Spa. And it was this determination and passion for helping others that gained Dr. Stephens praise from MadameNoire and earned her the 2012 Business Superstar Award and inaugural cover from PYNTK magazine.

From within Ciao Bella's office, Dr. Stephens and her friendly staff help clients shed pounds and gain confidence through customized weight-loss programs, which can include tailored exercise plans; B12, HCG, and lipotropic injections; appetite suppressants; and meal replacements. But before programs are constructed, an initial consultation reviews patients’ health history, determines their current state of health with a physical exam, and analyzes their body composition. Ciao Bella's staff also tighten and tone the skin on the face with facials, microdermabrasion, and Botox treatments.

The Groupon Guide to: Impromptu Holiday Games

With holiday season in full swing, there's no shortage of dinner parties to attend. If your host doesn't own any board games, save the evening by suggesting a game that can be played without gaming equipment:

Bang, Bang, Hear, Hear: Have one person grab a fork, spoon, and knife. After everyone else closes their eyes, the person holding the utensils will start banging one of the three against the dinner table. The first person to correctly guess what the banger is banging wins and gets to leave the game.

Noise Town: Break off into groups of two. Each pair builds a unique city by creating a soundscape using the sounds that come out of their mouths. The team that builds the loudest town gets the grand prize—getting to wait outside until the other teams stop.

My Country, Your Country: One person starts the game by approaching another person and saying "My country." The person has to respond, as quickly as possible, "Your country?" The first person then must say "My country" again, this time faster than the second person said "Your country?" This keeps going until everyone feels compelled to simultaneously shout "The holidays: are these not the finest times of our years?" Then everyone gets to leave.

Should December be called Game-cember?
