Boiling noodles is a great way to make a delicious pasta dish or express disdain for a kindergartner's art project. Demonstrate fine taste with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for an Italian dinner for two (up to a $61 total value)
  • $58 for an Italian dinner for four (up to a $122 total value)

Each dinner includes one pizza or pasta dish per person (up to a $16 value each), one local field-green salad per person (a $7 value each), and one well drink, draft beer, or house wine per person (up to a $7.50 value each).

The menu features eight pasta dishes, such as zita alla puttanesca dotted with sweet red bell peppers, garlic, and capers; al ceppo bolognese flooded by veal ragu; and crab-and-radicchio risotto. Guests craving pizza can dive into one of four kinds of pies, such as pizza gustosa topped with housemade italian sausage, fresh mozzarella, and imported ricotta.

Cibo Ristorante Italiano

Meaning “food” in Italian, cibo is not the only thing Cibo Ristorante Italiano provides. Dinner guests can slide behind a white-clothed table and soak in the eatery's relaxing ambiance of sunflower-yellow walls and loft ceilings spangled with artwork of all mediums—sculptures, photography, paintings, hand-blown glass, and even the sound waves of jazz music. The restaurant’s musicians take the stage six nights per week during dinner service, serenading guests as they enjoy the menu’s selection of homemade pasta dishes, as well as crisp pizzas—topped with everything from housemade sausage and imported cheese to spicy short ribs and potatoes. The also serve an array of hearty Italian entrees, including roasted free-range chicken over creamy polenta and grilled jumbo prawns and sea scallops with roasted-pepper couscous. Cibo's servers can suggest one of their many Italian and Californian wines to pair with the meal, or guests can enjoy a small-batch scotch.

The Groupon Guide to: Fighting Crime

While the police largely discourage comic book-inspired vigilantism, there are still a number of less flamboyant ways to combat crime in your community:

  • If you see something, say something—for instance, if you see a weird bug, make sure to tell everyone you meet that day about it.

  • Install intense floodlights in your bedroom so that no burglars can hide in the shadows and watch you sleep.

  • Teach children to trust the police by visiting schools dressed as something children already trust: a giant, talking dog wearing a policeman’s hat, with huge, unblinking plastic eyes.

  • Join a neighborhood watch, wherein adjacent neighborhoods volunteer to take turns staying up all night and watching each other to make sure no crimes happen.

  • When all else fails, join up with the lawless bands of lunatics who run your streets—you might be surprised how quickly you discard all morality in exchange for a skewer of boar meat roasted over a flaming garbage can.

Can you fight crime in your neighborhood by volunteering to never sleep again? Find out with today's Groupon Guide.
