Cigar Bar & Grill pleases palates and their operators with a menu of upscale bar fare, more than 20 featured cigars, and alcoholic beverages. Fill a craw with the fish tacos featuring tilapia filets, shredded cabbage, diced mango, jicama, and chipotle sour cream ($9.50) or the braised beef short ribs, which blend horseradish-accompanied mashed potatoes with a spiced broccolini veal reduction ($20). Guests can team any entree, many of which are prepared using organic ingredients, with a selection from the sprawling wine list, such as a Taz pinot noir ($11), which, like the glass in which it's poured, was harvested from the ground of a vineyard in Santa Barbara.

Cigar Bar & Grill encourages smokers to cozy up to a leather couch ensconced in the rustic Spanish atmosphere, in which the lighting, like fresh marshmallows and the bellies of professional wrestlers, is soft. While sipping a signature mixed drink such as a sweet-vermouth-and-bitters-infused presidente ($8), patrons can smoke their own cigars or select one from the fully stocked humidor. Puff a Rocky Patel 12-year vintage ($13) or a Fonseca 7-9-9 ($9) while employing geometrical knowledge in a game of pool or counting bricks on the fountain-bedecked outdoor courtyard dining patio.

The eatery and drinkery also hosts live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. While feeding the ears with the resonant tunes of Latin jazz, merengue, and samba, sip a draft beer such as a Blue Paddle pilsner or a Sierra Nevada brown ($5 each). Cigar Bar & Grill also supports local artists by featuring their work inside the establishment and by allowing anyone who claims to be a portraitist to paint on the tables.
