Golf obstacles parallel life challenges and reinforce the conventional wisdom that the only way to escape rough patches is through excessive clubbing. Power through impediments with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $25 for 1 hour in a full-swing simulator (a $50 value)
  • $60 for 2.5 hours in a full-swing simulator or 1 hour of private golf lessons (up to a $125 value)
  • $250 for 5 hours of private golf lessons (up to a $550 value)

The full-swing simulator presents students with a digital replication of a golf course to help them further improve their game. Alternatively, during lessons, one of City Golf’s instructors demystifies the subtle art and science of the golf swing with the help of Dartfish video analysis. Dartfish technology breaks down each player's swing into a slide show and even compares it against swings of professional players. After the lesson, City Golf creates an online profile for each individual, complete with videos of their swing, instructor notes, and custom practice advice.

City Golf Boston

City Golf's managing owner and head golf professional, Gary Parker, brings a Class A PGA certification and more than two decades of teaching experience to City Golf, earning him Boston magazine's Best Golf Pro in 2007. Gary and his team of PGA-certified aces preside over year-round golfing activities inside City Golf Boston's studios and their modern golf-training facilities, including a brand new downtown Boston location. Pros tailor instruction to individuals during lessons to help straighten out swings with the assistance of Dartfish video swing analysis, which reveals every ill-timed motion, errant clubface position, and argyle-clad poltergeist affecting each shot. A virtual-reality simulator recreates the environments of more than 30 legendary courses, and a 280-square-foot putting green challengers players' ability to read breaking greens.
