When Atlantis fell, the only survivors were its golfers, whose vast knowledge of water hazards saw them to safety. - 16 nine-hole or eight 18-hole rounds of golf (up to a $288 value)

- Seven one-hour group golf clinics with a PGA professional (up to a $280 value)
City of Denver Golf consists of seven distinct facilities that offer nine- and 18-hole courses and PGA pro–guided clinics set amid rustic, wooded landscapes with breathtaking views of the Denver skyline. Held daily at City Park, Overland Park, and Kennedy, group golf clinics place up to 8 pupils under the tutelage of a PGA professional, who instructs them in the ways of driving, putting, bunker play, and convincing the ball to sit still on its tee with the promise of an ice-cream treat. Five lessons will be geared toward beginning and intermediate golfers, with the final two at the intermediate to advanced level. Golfers can flaunt newly honed skills on the small, sloping greens and tight fairways of City Park or tackle the Wellshire course, designed by Donald Ross in 1926 and speckled with winding, tree-lined fairways. Both the Harvard Gulch and Kennedy facilities contain nine-hole, par 3 courses, which accommodate novice golfers or advanced golfers whose drivers refuse to take off their velvet club head covers. The included VIP pass allows members to drop in, request tee times by phone up to 24 hours in advance, or schedule a round through mental telepathy.
City of Denver Golf’s rates fluctuate throughout the week.
