Questions and Answers
Hi, Julie! I am the photographer, and thought I’d answer your question. For $85 you get a two hour portrait session and $100 worth of prints. All portrait sessions are done on location (meaning your home, a park, downtown Chicago, your neighborhood, etc… the choice is yours!).
“Formal” could mean different things to me than it does to you, so to get an idea of the type of photography I do, feel free to visit my website (http://www.cityviewphoto.com). I think the level of “formal” would be up to you!
Let me know if you have any other questions!

I’ve had a few phone calls about gifting this Groupon, so I thought I’d go ahead and post that info here, too.
If you want to give this as a gift, just contact me and you can redeem your groupon for a city|view photography gift certificate. They are nicely printed on uv-coated cardstock, and come in pretty red envelopes!

okay this says a $85 sitting fee an $100 in pictures so where is the extra hundred that causes this to say worth $285 cause i only see $185 worth of stuff please explain this to me
Hi Anna. This sounds like a great deal and was thinking of possibly getting it for some outdoor engagement photos of my fiance and I. Can photo sessions be set up on weekends?
Tasharra-
Great point! I’ll explain:
The sitting fee is normally priced at $185. It’s not clearly marked on the main page. So, with the $85 sitting fee you are getting $100 off the normal price! Plus the $100 print credit equals the $285 value. It’s a great deal!
Stephanie-
Photo sessions can be set up for any day! Weekdays and weekends are both acceptable, but are on a first come first serve basis. I love doing engagement photos and would be excited to do yours!

ps Congratulations!
Hi Anna,
I just signed up for this groupon and would like to use it for engagement photos. I am getting married next summer so would like to have some pictures made this fall/winter. Is there an expiration on this coupon?
Thanks,
Taylor
Taylor-
Thanks for the support! Your groupon is good until September 15, 2010, so we will definitely be able to get your pictures done! Fall in the city is a gorgeous backdrop for engagement pictures! Feel free to email me at anna@cityviewphoto.com to set up your session.

Hi Anna! This seems like a great deal, and I’m hoping to have professional pictures taken of my husband and me when he comes home from Iraq next year since we never had engagement or wedding pictures taken. Would the $100 photo credit be able to be applied to the purchase of the “I Want It All” package? $800 is a lot on a budget, but I haven’t checked around to compare prices, so maybe this is normal for the photography industry. And I’m glad this deal is available tomorrow as well; it gives me a little time to mull it over! :)
Hi Anna, if I purchased two groupons, how much, if any, would be applied to the “i want it all” package? Thanks! :)
Hi, Jessica! The $100 photo credit can definitely be applied to the “I Want it All” package. Since you are a military family, send me an email at anna@cityviewphoto.com and I can let you know about some other opportunities as well!
Hi, Jessika O.!
The entire $100 print credit can be applied toward the digital package.

You can use both credits towards the “I Want it All” package. This would leave you with one photo session to use as well!

Hi!
I was thinking about using this for headshots, but I was wondering if it is possible to order a CD of only two or three shots from the session and what would the cost of something like that be? I can’t really afford the “I Want it all” package and I don’t really need a CD of all images from the session—only those I plan on reprinting. If it isn’t possible, does the individual price of an 8×10 go down if you order say 25-50 8×10 prints of an image?
Thanks!
No problem! Digital images are $50 each, so with your credit you can get 2! You would then be able to print what you need.

Hi Anna,
What is the travel limit for sittings? My family is in Highland Park. Will I have to pay an extra fee since we are not in the city?
Hi, Lisa!
I’m actually based in Evanston, so I will happily travel to Highland Park for your session, with no extra charge.
Thanks (:
~Anna

To be clear, for $85 I can get 2 hours worth of “formal” pictures taken and then up to $100 worth of prints?
