Choose from Three Options

  • $30 for one admission to the CitySolve Urban Race on July 14 (up to a $65 value)
  • $55 for two admissions to the CitySolve Urban Race on July 14 (up to a $130 value)
  • $99 for four admissions to the CitySolve Urban Race on July 14 (up to a $260 value)

On race day, teams of up to four walk, skip, or run through the little-known nooks of Chicago gathering and solving clues that lead through neighborhoods and past city landmarks. Participants face challenges such as building a house from cards, solving a puzzle, or identifying ice-cream flavors.

CitySolve Urban Race

CitySolve Urban Race lets citizens explore their metropolis through a one-day odyssey testing speed, stamina, and smarts. Teams scamper through their 'burb as they solve clues ranging from anagrams and American history to Kryptonian mad libs. Interspersed throughout the race are mettle-testing physical challenges, molding iron wills to such tasks as building a house from cards or identifying ice-cream flavors. The top three teams with the fastest gams and sharpest puzzle-solving skills will also win free entry into the National Championship race in sunny Miami on Saturday, November 3, where they will sprint their way toward cash prizes totaling $6,500 (the top 25 teams qualify for the race). Each day's race also awards winners for best costumes, top senior (55 and older), and best Tweet. Each urban iditarod takes between three and five hours, and jet packs are strictly prohibited. All competitors receive a CitySolve Urban Race T-shirt.

Each day's race also awards winners for best costumes and best tweet. Each urban iditarod takes between two to three hours, and jet packs are strictly prohibited.
