Running a race is a great way to practice running away from an angry grizzly bear or toward a charismatic mountain lion. Keep pace with nature with this Groupon for entry to the CitySolve Urban Race on Saturday, November 3.

Choose from Three Options

  • $50 for registration for two (up to a $120 value)
  • $75 for registration for three (up to a $180 value)
  • $99 for registration for four (up to a $240 value)

Held on November 3, the Miami leg of the CitySolve Urban Race sets packs of competitors loose through the city on an adult scavenger hunt. The competition begins at noon, and check-in runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Teams of up to four walk, skip, or run through the little-known nooks of Miami and nearby locales, gathering and solving clues that take participants through neighborhoods such as Winwood Arts District, Coconut Grove, and Little Havana.

CitySolve

CitySolve lets citizens explore their metropolis through a one-day odyssey that tests speed, stamina, and smarts. Teams scamper through their burb as they solve clues ranging from anagrams and pop-culture trivia to deciphering graffiti written in pig Latin. Interspersed throughout the race are mettle-testing physical challenges, molding iron wills to such tasks as dodgeball, improv comedy games, or identifying ice-cream flavors. Each day's race also awards winners for best costumes and best tweet. Each urban iditarod takes between two to three hours, and jet packs are strictly prohibited.
