Questions and Answers

I have a box of Hi 8 tapes from shooting numberous hours of family video over the years with my Sony camcorder. If I only want to transfer limited portions from each story on a video tape (I tended to over record more on each event than I needed), can you extract off each tape only a few minutes of each new event on the tape, or do you have to transfer over onto DVD the entire tape content? Also, how much tape can a single DVD hold... is it one-for-one as in 1 Hi 8 tape to 1 DVD? Thanks.

Would the groupon deal apply if I had 1vhs but wanted 3 copies of that same one? Would that be my best route? Thanks

Eileen T. asked 5 months, 12 days, 7 hours, and 44 minutes ago - 1 answer

Joseph M.

Hi Eileen, The cost for one VHS transfer to DVD is $ 19.95 and copies are $ 10.00 each. The Groupon is good for 5 Transfers which is a $ 100.00 value. Your better value would be to add a few more vhs tapes to be transfered.

Hi, I have 7 mini-DV tapes, each an hour or less, would this be considered 7 transfers? If so, can I use the Groupon for 5 transfers and pay for the additional 2? How much would the extra 2 cost? I'd really love to get them all done at once. Thanks!

Jennifer M. asked 5 months, 12 days, 7 hours, and 55 minutes ago - 1 answer

Joseph M.

Hello Jennifer, Yes, 7 mini-DV tapes is considered 7 transfers. Additional charge for the other two would be $ 19.95 each.

We only have two VHS tapes to be transferred and I noticed that there is only the 5 video transfers option available. Do I still have to pay the $40.00 for the Groupon? What would it cost me to just bring you these two VHS tapes to be transferred? Thanks, Jo C.

Jo E. asked 5 months, 13 days, 19 hours, and 2 minutes ago - 1 answer

Aaron K.

Sorry for any confusion, Jo. Though our deals are only available as sold, it seems like the $19 purchase option for "three video-to-DVD transfers" would better fit your needs.

Does this service need to be used as a walk -in, or can I send the tapes and have them shipped back to me? What would the extra cost be for this?

Aimee asked 5 months, 13 days, 20 hours, and 42 minutes ago - 1 answer
