Carpet, like hair, comes in short or shaggy varieties and always grows back even after a botched cut. Apologize for asymmetry with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $87 for carpet cleaning for five rooms up to 200 square feet each (a $175 value)

During two- to three-hour services, technicians clean carpets with truck-mounted hot-water-extraction equipment before allowing surfaces to speed dry. Groupon customers are also eligible to receive 20% off any additional services.

Clean Green

Clean Green’s crisply uniformed technicians clean carpets and air ducts throughout the Salt Lake City area. Equipped with truck-mounted units and driven by dreams of decimated dust creatures, the bonded and insured crews follow a detailed schedule. First, they prep areas by moving light furniture and pretreating and vacuuming floors. Then, they use an eco-friendly cleaning system—free of harsh chemicals—to annihilate soil and debris with the aid of heated water. The team can cap off visits by coating floor fibers in a layer of protectant that wards off stains for six months or longer.

Above the floorboards, techs tackle air ducts with rotating brushes, wiping away allergens and debris from vents, furnaces, and air-conditioning units and trapping the detritus deep within the Clean Green truck for disposal. Clean Green also spruces up tile, grout, and upholstery.

The Groupon Guide to: Impromptu Holiday Games

With holiday season in full swing, there's no shortage of dinner parties to attend. If your host doesn't own any board games, save the evening by suggesting a game that can be played without gaming equipment:

Bang, Bang, Hear, Hear: Have one person grab a fork, spoon, and knife. After everyone else closes their eyes, the person holding the utensils will start banging one of the three against the dinner table. The first person to correctly guess what the banger is banging wins and gets to leave the game.

Noise Town: Break off into groups of two. Each pair builds a unique city by creating a soundscape using the sounds that come out of their mouths. The team that builds the loudest town gets the grand prize—getting to wait outside until the other teams stop.

My Country, Your Country: One person starts the game by approaching another person and saying "My country." The person has to respond, as quickly as possible, "Your country?" The first person then must say "My country" again, this time faster than the second person said "Your country?" This keeps going until everyone feels compelled to simultaneously shout "The holidays: are these not the finest times of our years?" Then everyone gets to leave.

Should December be called Game-cember?
