In prehistoric times, running fast helped people escape lions and tigers; nowadays, it helps people escape the modern world’s most dangerous predator—sewer gators. Save yourself with this Groupon.

The Deal

  • $25 for 5K race entry, T-shirt, and glow gear ($50 value)

Racers line up at The Montgomery County Fairgrounds wearing pristine white garb on Saturday, September 13, ready for the onslaught of non-toxic glow paint that will be hurled at them throughout the race. The race begins at 9 p.m. Black lights lining the course illuminate the paint, music plays at every glow station, and DJs spin at a post-race party. Each entrant gets a race T-shirt and assorted glow gear. For more information, see the FAQ.

Color and Glow Run

The Color and Glow Run could just as easily be called the Color and Glow Walk, or the Color and Glow Dance. It’s not important how fast racers finish the 5K course, what’s important is what those runners wear. As long as they sport a white T-shirt, they can enjoy a colorful or glow-in-the-dark makeover at the hands of the race’s volunteer crew.
