  • $34 for a three-hour painting class for two (a $70 value)

Each month at local venues such as restaurants and bars, Colors & Bottles hosts themed art classes that provide students with step-by-step instruction for creating their own personal masterpiece. All supplies are provided, including canvases, aprons, paint, brushes, and easels. Some classes include a BYOB option; for those that don't, drinks and refreshments will be available to purchase. See the calendar for times, dates, and focal points of upcoming classes.

Colors & Bottles

Beginning in Columbus and now painting the town red in various cities throughout the county, Colors & Bottles scratches the creative itch of the public with its themed art classes that leave no blank canvas unvarnished. The mobile painting service, which The Ellen DeGeneres Show tagged as a "hip, new, and fresh" activity, stages its events at local bars, wineries, restaurants, and art galleries, helping boost neighborhood economies while creating a hard-to-follow trail for begrudging pottery wheels. During three-hour classes, an artist plucked from the local art community leads students through the creation of a themed painting, such as a city skyline or something more abstract. For an extra splash of inspiration, some venues allow students to bring their own drinks, while others have refreshments available to purchase.

The Groupon Guide to: Getting the Couch through the Doorway

They would never make a couch so big that it couldn't fit through any size of doorway. If you ever wanna sit down to watch TV, you're gonna have to do the following first:

  • Turn it right.
  • No, that was a question. "Turn it, right?"
  • Try to shove your head through it. For leverage.
  • Take the cushions off.
  • See if that lady will hold the cushions so they don't get dirty.
  • What are those purple and black stains under the cushions?
  • Tell her it will only take a second and that we would do it for her.
  • Those stains look like a scary code.
  • Line it up so that the armrest is parallel with the huge gash we just put in the wall.
  • Take the cushions back from Mrs. Princess. She obviously has better things to do.
  • Hold on, I think my fingers fell asleep.
  • Yup.
  • Think outside the box. What if we moved the doorway around the couch?
  • I can't believe we got this for free from the back of that open moving truck.
  • Throw the cushions down the stairs so the lady knows we're mad at her.
  • Let's take a break and drink these milks my friend hooked us up with.

Can you really get a couch through a doorway in 15 simple steps?
