In a Nutshell

Clients relax with an outdoor hot-tub soak before unwinding in a steam room and dry-heat cedar sauna with the option of a massage

The Fine Print

A day at the spa is one of the best ways to achieve inner peace, alongside meditating or eating a handful of doves' eggs. Feel good inside and out with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $29 for Two 60-minute outdoor soaks with a sauna and steam session (a $60 value)
  • $69 for the above package and either two 30-minute massages or one 60-minute massage (a $150 value)

The second offer may also be applied toward two visits for one person. The 30-minute massages can be used by two people on one visit or one person on two visits. Alternatively, one person can combine them for one 60-minute massage on one visit. After spending 30 restful minutes soaking in a hot tub, clients relax in the center's dry-heat cedar sauna and 8-person steam room, switching between the two as they see fit.

The coed facility welcomes clients 18 years and older and maintains a clothing-optional policy. Ladies can make appointments during coed hours or Ladies only times. Ladies only times in the steamroom and sauna are on Mon. from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Ladies only times in the outdoor hot tub and sauna are on Wed. from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Hot tub and sauna can be booked online, otherwise available for walk-in basis up to 1 hour before closing. Spa hours are Sun. and Mon. from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tues. - Fri. 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sat. from 11 p.m. to 7 p.m. Click here for additional hours and services.

Everett House Healing Center

Though Everett House Healing Center has changed since its inception in 1979, the center's devotion to traditional preventive healing has not. On the grounds of the multibuilding facility, holistic practitioners work alongside resident chiropractors to deliver such stress-relieving spa services as Swedish massages and organic facials. They can also shelter guests inside a Samadhi flotation tank filled with 10 inches of water and 800 pounds of epsom salt, a treatment that is said to detoxify muscles and alleviate tension while lowering the heart rates of hummingbirds who have had too much cappuccino.

Elsewhere in the facility, a cedar sauna wafts dry heat over bodies to expunge impurities from skin, and a tiled steam room's therapeutic vapors clear the respiratory system. The center maintains a coed, clothing-optional environment aside from some women-only evenings.

The Groupon Guide to: Where Babies Come From

Having “the talk” with your child can be awkward—especially if your child is still too young to understand the nuances of human reproduction or, worse, is a giggler. Postpone the difficult conversation a few more months with one of these classic explanations about where babies come from:

  • Babies are dropped down the chimney by storks who swoop down and steal them from other families.
  • Babies are hatched from the cabbage patch, so if you think about it, eating vegetables is essentially cannibalism.
  • Babies are assembled at the hospital and wrapped tightly in a blanket until all the glue is dry.
  • When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, their psychic harmonics produce an cytoplasmic egg that must be kept in a dark closet for nine months.
  • Babies are an invention of the celebrity-obsessed media to sell magazine covers of pregnant starlets.

Is it time to tell your kids the truth about where babies come from? Learn how with today's Groupon Guide.
