Questions and Answers

Not sure if you did answer this but I have some really old small tapes that read Maxell HCX Gold 20 are you able to transfer those to a CD? If so can you give me a ball park amount it would cost per tape? Candy

CANDY B. asked 3 months, 12 days, 3 hours, and 41 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

We charge a minimum of $10 per tape to transfer to DVD. Tapes one hour or less are $10, tapes 1-2 hours are $20 and so on. This price is for VHS, VHS-C and 8mm Video, but we can transfer all kinds of videotapes and film. Please call or email us if you have any additional questions. Thank you.

Linda C. answered 3 months, 12 days, and 38 minutes ago

So, your groupon rate is $10 per hour of tape. Is that correct? And am I also correct in assuming that this is a straight transfer, without editing, for example blank space at the end of a tape, or partial tape or ruined tape.? Thanks

Karen O. asked 3 months, 13 days, 5 hours, and 3 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

We stop the transfer at the end of any video signal on the tape, so there is no blank space. You can also combine up to two hours of video on a DVD, just number the VHS tapes in the order you would like them to appear on the DVD, and yes there is a $10 minimum per tape. Thank you.

Can you convert PAL vhs to dvd?

John H. asked 3 months, 14 days, 4 hours, and 43 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

Yes, the cost is $35 for the first hour, $15 for each hour thereafter. Unfortunately, you can not use the Groupon for PAL transfers. Please call the office if you have additional questions. Thank you. 1-800-817-8500

Hello, I have many Vh tapes, most have an hour or two on them. For example if one tape had 6 hrs on it, the price would be $60.00?

margaret f. asked 3 months, 14 days, 5 hours, and 38 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

For VHS to DVD we charge a minimum of $10 for the first hour. If the tape is 1-2 hours the cost is $20 and so on, so yes, if your tape is 6 hours the cost would be $60. Though you can only use one coupon per family per order, we do give additional discounts for big jobs and repeat customers, thank you.

I have a VHS tape that does not work in my VCR. The tape looks fine but it won't play. It has video of my son who was 2 years old at the time and I am heart broken that it does not work. Do you offer repair and then transfer to a DVD?

nicky s. asked 3 months, 14 days, 6 hours, and 30 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

Yes, we charge $10 to repair tapes and then the cost to transfer is a minimum of $10 for VHS tape for the first hour, if the tape is 1-2 hours the cost is $20 for the DVD and so on. Please call if you have questions, but YES we can fix your tape. :) 1-800-817-8500.

Can you tell me if we can have any VHS converted to DVD. I have some old VHS versions of my Pastor preaching and I would love to have them changed to DVD. I purchased them from the church anywhere from 10-12 years ago.

Amie L. asked 3 months, 14 days, 6 hours, and 54 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

We should be able to transfer this for you, the cost is a minimum of $10 per VHS tape for the first hour. Tapes 1-2 hours are $20, tapes 2-4 hours are $30 and so on. You then get the Groupon discount off your job. Only one Groupon is available per job, per family. Thank you.

Hello. My boyfriend has recently received a box of real to real from an old family member that he would like to convert to DVD. I would say he has about 5 reals, how do I know how much footage this is and what package to buy on Groupon? Also, would I then drop off the reels to you in downers Grove?

Stella V. asked 3 months, 14 days, 7 hours, and 12 minutes ago - 1 answer

Linda C.

Film transfer is not part of the Groupon, but we do provide the service. The small reels are 50 ft. (about 3 inches across). We charge $.17 cents per foot and a $25 mastering fee for the entire job. You can send us the footage or drop it off at our office. My guy does a terrific job with film transfers. 1-800-817-8500.

Linda C. answered 3 months, 14 days, 5 hours, and 33 minutes ago
