If I purchase the Groupon today, would this deal be available to use at the restaurant by tomorrow night (Saturday)?
Dine in only? or is it also for take out?

@ Henry M., you can use it for take out but Cork is not really a take out restaurant. They will handle a take out order if the kitchen is not super busy. I think your best bet would be to go and sit down and soak in the atmosphere, besides, you can eat at home any night! Enjoy!

I’m so glad they finally had an offer for South Jersey. I’ve heard great things about Cork and this will definitely get us to try it. Can’t wait.
Can it be used for Happy Hour? The half off menu looks pretty good.

The Groupon cannot be used towards the happy hour menu. What you could do is go to the happy hour, get the discounted drinks there and then use the Groupon towards a great dinner.

The Groupon is not available to use tonight. If you purchase the Groupon today then you can use it tomorrow. If you purchase it tomorrow you will be able to use it on Sunday and so on.

But you can use it ANYTIME after tonight, right? You don’t have to go the very next day. There is an expiration date.
Okay, answered my own question. SO GLAD I got in on this one. Kevin and the gang at CORK make dining fun and the food is SO GOOD. Bring on more South Jersey restaurant groupons…we love them.
I agree with Stacy K re: SJ. I live in the DC area now, but go home frequently to visit my family in SJ. Any chance Groupon will do like they did in DC and create “neighborhoods” under the main Philadelphia banner? Just like there’s a big Northern Virginia market down here, I’m sure there’s a big SJ market who would like some coupons in their own backyard as opposed to always traveling to Philly.
I am excited about the response from our Groupon offer. I have been owning successful restaurants for over 30 years including 2 in philadelphia since 1983. On February 14, 2010 it will be our 5th anniversary at Cork. We have come a long way in 5 years and it is because of you, our faithful customers, that keep us informed of how we are doing. We want to personally respond to you and hopefully get to know you by name. That is what makes us different from the chain restaurants here in South Jersey.
Please ask for me or my wife Janet when you come in and use your Groupon. We would love to meet you. Chef Sae will accomodate special needs if you have them.

Am I the only one who thinks Westmont, NJ is not Philadelphia, has nothing to do with Philadelphia and should not be included in the Philadelphia Groupon page?
Emma, you might be the only one! South Jersey is a great escape from Philly! I hope the Groupon folks will approach the Collingswood restaurants (Collingswood was recently voted a “Classic Town of Greater Philadelphia”) like Tortilla Press, Il Fiore, Sapori, the new El Sitio, Casona, Nunzio’s and Villa Barone. It would be a great $30 for $15 deal as they are BYOB!
Emma, Why would you say such a thing? Are you that insecure that you think Philadelphia begins on City line Ave and ends at the Delaware River? As a working woman I travel to Philadelphia everyday and support you by paying a wage tax. My husband and I will travel to the city to shop, see a show or go to a restaurant. Do you think the only people that buy Philadelphia Goupons are people that city in the city limits? I would bet my house that at least 50% are purchased by people outside the city. In fact I have not seen one restaurant offered all year that was anywhere near the caliber and great food that Cork is. I think if you see how many were sold you would agree. People from the city probably purchased 50% of these Groupons. I have no way of knowing for sure but except for the BBQ restaurant this one sold more than anyone else.
Mr Groupon do not listen to this grouchy old woman. Keep bringing good quality restaurant and business within 1 hour drive of center city. I will gladly drive for a bargain especially in this economy. Where I picked up 3 for Cork so I can stay on this side of the river and not pay $25.00 to park, $4.00 for the bridge, and the 10% liquor tax. A martini in the city cost $12.00 in South Jersey it is $8.00-$9.00
First, Emma: Having moved to this to the Philadelphia REGION thirty years ago from the southwest, I still am amazed by the high percentage of people who just never get out of this area, at least mentally. Philadelphia is a city, an area, a region. Do you go to Paris and not go over the border because you went to see Paris? Enlarge your world! You’ll enjoy it.
Second, I’m purchasing a Groupon here, because of Kevin’s comments. I live in Cherry Hill. We don’t eat out much because of my wife’s “special needs” (gluten, lactose intolerances). We look forward to trying you out. It’s nice to see the owners actively participating in the groupons. Looks like you’re picking up a lot of busines from this. Good luck!

Cork is an excellent place for drinks and light fare after work. They have an extensive selection of wines and great food. They also have weekly specials like half-off bottles of wine on Mondays (I think it is Mondays). We love Cork.
