Questions and Answers

This offer is good for 0.8cc syringe of radiesse. I would like to use this for my nasal fold area. I'm assuming the injection can be split between the two sides evenly. Is that enough though? Is 0.8cc of radiesse equivalent to 1 cc of restylane?

Have there been any studies done as to how long the microspheres stay in your skin, or how long it takes them to resorb? Have there been studies on whether in the future you can use other filler products, or botox in the same area, and if so how long must you wait? Have there been studies done on whether you can have lasers, ipo facials etc. in the same area that has been treated, and how long you need to wait? If there have not been studies on these matters, what has been your experience? Thank You, Suzanne

You have many good questions that would be ideal to fully answer in a consultation setting. In general, it is common to combine different treatment modalities to optimize the final cosmetic outcome. How that is determined is on an individual basis and I invite you to come in for a consultation to answer these questions as to how they may apply for you.

Is Radiesse less toxic than Botox injection?

patricia M. asked 7 months, 12 days, 19 hours, and 43 minutes ago - 1 answer

Both products are approved by the FDA for safety for their appropriate indications and use. Almost any product in inappropriate doses can be "toxic" - e.g. oxygen toxicity, water toxicity, etc.

What is the cost to upgrade to the bigger syringe or is that not even a possibility?

We are pleased to offer attractive discounts on a variety of secondary services exclusively for our Groupon patients. This includes upgrades in the event that more than 0.8 cc of filler is desired.

Just how far will a .8cc vial of Radisse go? WIll it give satisfactory results? I ask because I bought a laser resurfacing treatment awhile back only to find out that you needed 3 or 4 treatments to really see any change. It was a big waste of my money.

Very good question! Obviously, the more volume loss one has will require more filler to meet that need - so a standard answer won't apply to everyone's specific case. However, every bit of volume restored contributes to the cause of resolving an area of volume loss. A typical area that may be adequately treated with a 0.8 cc syringe are the folds between the nose and corner of the mouth, depressions at the corners of the mouth , and permanent frown lines between the eyebrows. More specific recommendations can be made at your consultation.
