Combine the artistic styles of John Woo and Jackson Pollock into a singular aesthetic assault with today's Groupon: for $25, you get admission, goggles and mask system, paint-gun rental, initial CO2 air fill, and 500 paintballs at Cousins Paintball (a $50 value). You can choose between all-day admission on an open field and three hours on a private field for groups of 10 or more. This Groupon can be redeemed at any of Cousins' four area locations: Coram, Long Island; Manchester, New Jersey; Staten Island; or New Windsor, New York.

Take to the expansive acreage at any of Cousins Paintball's four area parks and become immersed in the colorful conflagration of crossfire that is paintball. Cousins Paintball equips its guests, be they skilled sharpshooters or nervous newbies, with the gear needed to lead all-out sieges on bunkers and obstacles strewn about its four outdoor paintball facilities. Capture flags while taking no prisoners, or trigger-finger-paint enemies in a spray of pigmented pellets while screaming out your favorite line of Dolph Lundgren dialogue. Safety is of the utmost priority for Cousins Paintball, with goggles being required at all times.

With the option to upgrade to a private field for groups of 10 or more, you can celebrate everything from bachelor parties to corporate outings to bar mitzvahs to successful dental cleanings. If you have no good excuse to do battle, Cousins has a calendar full of its own full-on wars and more. Just give Cousins your Groupon and 48 hours' notice, and you'll get to run around playing cops-and-Frankensteins in the biggest backyard in town.

Reviews

Cousins Paintball's Long Island location has gotten mostly positive reviews from paint-splattered ballers at PBReview.com:

  • Cousins at Coram NY is my favorite [paintball venue] so far...Most fields at Cousins are big enough so you don‘t get taken out by 10 paintballs at the same time right away when referee blows his whistle to start a game and that's a plus IMO... – Xmarkerman
  • What I was most impressed with was the number of refs and how engaged they were during the games. It appeared that they were right on the spot of any activity and ready to call out hits. Very little wiping which I can't stand. – Dr. K

Groupon Says

Oh, Cousin...

As the old saying goes, "You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your cousins." Somehow, there's always one son of an uncle that always manages to put his own distorted spin on any gathering. Take Cousin Danny, for example, and his greatest hits of classic cousin-ry:

  • Ruined your sister's wedding with several inappropriate fake objections

  • Made out with girlfriend while the kids opened Christmas presents at Grandma's

  • Lobbied to be invited to your birthday party, then injured the Stephens twins

  • Came to prom even though he didn't go to your school, then injured the Stephens twins

  • Showed up barefoot to three consecutive family funerals
