Can you buy more than one deal?

Susan K.

Hi… Can you buy more than and can you buy them as a gift?? It would be an awesome Christmas present.

Robert M.

Eileen & Susan,

Yes to both questions. You can buy as many as you would like, either for yourself or as gifts.

This looks so fun! I’m considering buying some for my 13 year-old and his friends. I’m curious if you know how much time (hour, 2 hours, etc…) these supplies would last for beginners, on average (I know exact times are impossible to determine)?

Thanks!

Michael M.

I signed up for Groupon yesterday, cupcake day. I was a little disappointed. But get this…I already had plans to go to CPX Sports to play this Sunday! I win.

Nick .

Ok so the fine print says we have to purchase the paint and in the information on what we get for $24 it says we get paint, so which is it? Totally intereted in this. You guys gotta work off all the cupcakes you will be eating.

Robert M.

Sef,

The Groupon includes paint, sorry for the confusion. The only thing to know is that all additional paint must be purchased there.

Hope this helps.

Bob from Groupon

Glad to hear of everyone’s excitement with this offer! Yes, you can buy multiple coupons and give them to other people as gifts if you would like. The gun and goggle rental equipment is provided along with admission and all day air fills. You also receive (2) 140 round tubes of paintballs. We believe this is a great offer and hope that everyone takes advantage of it today, so pass it along to your friends now!!

Hi, I was wondering what else was incuded, on your CPX website, it says that for $40 you receive the Xtreme Deal – General Admission, Basic Equipment Rental (Tippmann Custom 98 Semi-Automatic Marker with Anti-Chop Technology, 200-round Hopper, 3000-psi HP Air Tank, Rental Ammo Pouch w/three 140-round tubes) and a brand New Extreme Rage X-Ray Goggle System

In this deal it looks like admistion, equipment rental and only 2 rounds, yet you are advertising its a $49 value? I’ve already purchased two of these, but want to understand what we are really getting.

Victoria K.

Hey!
This will be my first time going out shooting paint balls and I’m really excited but also just as interested as ‘M’ is in hearing about the “deal” comparisons. In addition, would it be possible for the 500 Premium Marballizer Paintballs (Bag) $25 to be divided into the group that you’re with or is it per person?
Thanks!

Angela S.

Here is the answer I rec’d from Nick at CPX Sports re: how long this supply of paint balls would “probably” last:

These supplies would last an average player about two hours or so.
There are a lot of variables that go into how much paint is shot so it
can be hard to judge how long someone will make paint last. Usually
players use between 500-800 paintballs per person in an hour and a half
to two and a half hours on average. However, some players will use much
more and some players will use much less. I would budget for at least
one more bag of paint, if necessary, but I don’t foresee any other costs
involved. I hope this helps answer your question but if you need
anything else please email me back or give us a call. We look forward
to seeing your group out to play!!

Just an FYI everyone. I’ve paintballed many times. Most non-pro paintballers will blow through 200-300 paintballs per game. It’s a heck of a lot of fun, but don’t go in thinking that the 140 balls will last more than one round (15 minutes of play). If you think it will, you’re kidding yourself. Plan on spending more on additional rounds.

I was wondering if the 24 dollars includes the $18 admission fee also?? And if i buy the 24 dollar deal, can i bring my own paintballs incase I need extra? and if i buy the 500 marbilizer can i split it with another person? Thanks

The groupon does include the $18 Open Play admission. You can not bring your own paintballs, any additional paintballs must be purchased at CPX. This is because most low end paintballs have a thicker shell which doesn’t always break on contact which can be painful. Also, many of the low end paintballs have paintfills that won’t wash out of clothing and will stain. Cpx shoots RPS Marballizer which is widely regarded as the best paintballs the industry had to offer. They always break on contact which greatly decreases the energy transferred to the playing being marked. We have a specially formulated white paintfill that washes out of clothing as well.

Regarding how much paint you will shoot, it really does depend on the player. It’s sort of like asking how many Buffalo Wild Wings how many wings someone will eat – it all depends on how hungry you are! Some will play like a sniper and can stretch 200 paintballs out over several hours while those with itchy trigger fingers may shoot 200 paintballs on the target range. If you are looking to make your paintballs last, take a couple practice shots at the range and pick your shots carefully during the games, that’ll help in not giving away your position too!!

You can only go Saturdays and Sundays? Or during the week as well?

D'Monda

I see the comment about Weekends or weekdays, but don’t see an answer. When can you use this. Is it safe for a 10 year old.
