Ice sculptors transform frozen water into beautiful art, just like children who build snowmen just to watch them burn. Watch the whittlers at work with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $12 for two adult admissions (a $24 value)

  • $15 for two adult combo admissions with a museum tour (a $30 value)

Each option includes hot chocolate and wine tastings for adults. The Natural Ice Harvest Museum illuminates the once-booming ice-harvesting industry in the Poconos prior to refrigeration, which involved extracting ice blocks from lakes. The event will be open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday–Saturday and until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Crystal Cabin Fever

Every winter, the professional ice carvers at Sculpted Ice Works whittle and chip away at large blocks of ice to create Crystal Cabin Fever, an indoor, interactive display of expertly formed frozen water. In the event’s infancy, the exhibit was limited to a life-size ice cabin, but it has since blossomed to include a unique annual theme, live carving demonstrations, and an ice slide—totaling more than 100 tons of ice in all.
