D’Lazo Hair Salon & Spa

D’Lazo Hair Salon & Spa’s owner, Rachel Lazo, personally designed the business’s interior in 2006. The salon’s 14-foot walls give way to an exposed industrial ceiling that clings to dangling chandeliers and extra-long ponytails not ready to say goodbye. Learned stylists clip hair, add dimension with polychromatic highlights, and sculpt fanciful updos for weddings. Across the way, soothing music softly tickles ears throughout D’Lazo’s spa zone, where a roster of services banishes stress. Seasoned hands swoop across backs to deliver deep-tissue massages, and hot stones warmly loosen the spine with heat more effectively than a hula-hoop fresh from the microwave.
