$39 for Dance Lessons for Up to Two ($440 Value)

During 60-minute private dance lessons, one of Dance Louisville’s professional instructors helps fledgling dancers build technique, boost confidence, and tone limbs. Group lessons allow students to try out new skills in dances such as ballroom, salsa, and swing.

Dance Louisville

After traveling the globe performing and racking up awards, world-champion dancer Brian Barakauskas returned to his native Louisville to pay homage to the city where he first learned to dance. At his studio, Dance Louisville, Barakauskas and his staff of professional instructors tap into their extensive dance backgrounds to help students reach their own dance goals, whether they want to compete professionally or simply learn a new salsa routine for an upcoming boardroom presentation. Pupils flit across a 2,400-square-foot floating dance floor during both private and group lessons as well as wedding-dance rehearsals.

The Groupon Guide to: Remaining Calm

Life is full of stressful situations that challenge our ability to remain calm. Whether you're in the middle of a heated debate or being chased by a gaggle of exes, use these techniques to remain even-tempered:

Take a Deep Breath: Feeling air slowly enter and leave your lungs will remind you that nothing really matters because we are all just balloons that move air around.

Count to 10: Ten is the most calming number because when turned sideways it looks like a thin man sleeping on a big, round rock. He's freer than any of us.

Think about Something Positive: You'll feel better if you imagine something peaceful such as a smiling child, a clear blue sky, or a horse playfully biting his master's hand.

Repeat a Positive Mantra: Many people are soothed by chanting "this too shall pass," and others like to repeat "I'm the one in charge, I sail my own barge."

Which number looks like a free man? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
