Daniel Butler Photography

Rather than constantly reinvent one space for each of his photography sessions, Daniel Butler frames high-school seniors, brides, families, pets, and children at one of his four studios. Along with his indoor workspace—where he hosts Easter specials with live bunnies and ducklings—Daniel owns three outdoor studios: a private lakefront area, a portrait park, and a portrait garden. Subjects can lounge in front of the water, relax in the gazebo, or strike poses in front of a rustic truck. To make their shot selection easier, Daniel shares 8.5"x11" previews on fine linen paper with his clients, at which point they choose which images to print and preserve. Additionally, Daniel ensures each shot's longevity by framing pictures in his gallery, as well as restoring images with more advanced techniques than coloring in faded parts with a crayon.
