Date and Dash

At Date and Dash's speed-dating events, mingling singles trade in old-fashioned first dates for an evening of abbreviated rendezvous and intimate duologues. During each age-specific gathering, a gender-balanced batch of singles converges inside a charming, pre-chosen venue, such as a hotel bar or chic lounge. Depending on the event's turnout, participants meet and chat for three to eight minutes per date, rotating in a round-robin style until everyone has had the chance to connect or share strategies for combating cooties. Following their final verbal waltz, daters enter potential matches into Date and Dash's online system, which collects the results and matches up pairs who answered "Yes" to each other. Although beverages are not included, most meeting locations come equipped with a bar, and some venues offer complimentary drinks to help partners quickly break the ice.
