The initial visit includes a consultation and taking of impressions, which are then used to create custom removable, transparent trays to realign teeth. The trays are fitted during the second visit and are swapped out approximately every two weeks to gradually shift grins. The dentist checks on the smile's progress during three to eight follow-up appointments.
