how durable is the plastic? ie if you drop your phone by accident, will the plastic break? As well, are iphone 4s the same sizes as the other iphone models? I am just not sure what type of iPhone the people for whom I would buy this for have.

You should not drop the iPhone and case. Bad things could happen. iPhone 4 and 4s are different sizes than earlier iPhone.
