Groupon: Collective Buying Power

We begin taking portraits at both Malls on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, November 23rd and will be in the Malls daily till Christmas Eve. These are valid for $25 off ANY package, including our digital only option which is $25 if all you want is the digital image, or a $10 add-on if you want to add the digital image to any print package. So you can order actual prints of an image and also get it in digital form for $10 more, or just get the digital with the GroupOn value alone... We are still working out if we are going to be burning CD's (time consuming and slows the line), E-mailing (problem if they give us a bad E-mail or it is over quota) or downloading (my preference because it is easy and they can access it repeatedly, but may take a bit longer to post up)... But, as always, I will do my best to make it affordable and as simple as possible for everyone...

I forgot to mention that the Vouchers are for NON-ASD RELEASED days during the week only. So Black Friday, the Friday before Christmas and the Monday before Christmas (Christmas Eve), as well as all Saturday and Sunday days, the voucher would only have the $15 purchase value, not the full $25 promo value. We WILL honor them on the weekends if people want to use them then, but only the purchase value will be valid as we are usually pretty busy on the weekends and ASD released days as it is. The intent with the Groupon is to help fill out my weekday schedule when we are traditionally a bit slower. Also, coming early in the season is STRONGLY suggested as patrons tend to be more frantic and less considerate of long lines as we near the dreaded Christmas deadlines... 8-)

We begin on Black Friday but the Groupon is only valid for weekdays and non-released ASD days, so the Groupon starts on Monday, November 26th and runs through Thursday, December 20th. We STRONGLY suggest trying to come in as early in the season as possible. It will be difficult if everyone waits till Wednesday and Thursday the week before Christmas... 8-)

You may apply the $25 voucher (or multiples thereof) to ANY package, including a $25 Digital Image package. Images will be loaded to our secure website and a group password will be given to you that will allow you to access your file(s). You may also add a digital image on with any standard package for only $10, so, you could use the Groupon to get a basic $25 print package and pay $10 to have the Digital Download option added as well. We are pretty flexible on how you use the $25. Keep in mind, you MAY buy more than one voucher if you want to add on more images, more digital files, etc. The base package is 2-4x6's and 4-wallets. Additional 4x6's or sets of TWO (2) wallets are $5 each, so if you turned in TWO vouchers you could get the basic, a digital file and three additional units, either 4x6's or wallet sets. The total value would be $50 and the two vouchers for $30 purchased would cover it.

Yes, you would get the full value of the Groupons, so you could actually get the original value of 2-4x6's and 4-wallets and then add the digital image option ($25) or 5 extra units of 4x6 or wallet prints (so say, 3-4x6's and 4-wallets additionl). I had to put a restriction on the number of people in a single portrait because I need the groups to move fairly quickly through the setup to keep other patrons from becoming annoyed. We are very patient and want to make sure every patron has a positive and fun experience seeing Santa. This means making sure each child feels that they have personal interaction, and that can be hard when people bring very large groups at one time. But we also understand that some folks have large families (particularly if there are older kids involved) and we wanted them to have an option to have portraits with Santa as well. This seemed a decent compromise. We hope to see you and your family this season!

In the past, the Mall at Sears has allowed us to do this so long as the pet was brought into the Mall IMMEDIATELY before the portrait is taken (no waiting in the line or walking the Mall with them) and was taken back out of the Mall immediately following the portraits. Their policy is no pets in the Mall, but they also host Pet-o-ween every Halloween season and have always allowed portraits with Santa as well for our furry friends... Northway has not given me a definite answer on the pet question, so, for now, I would suggest buying from Sears at this time... Thanks for your question!
