Absolutely. Just have him remind us when he shows up for his flight that he would like to learn some new manuevers. It is however, a short flight, so I would recommend extending his flight to a full lesson, so he can actually make significant progress toward his license. Thanks!

My boyfriend is seriously thinking about learning to fly. Is this a legitimate introductory lesson or more of a "fun" and "touristy" type of thing? Will this lesson actually count for anything?

This is absolutely a legitimate lesson. The student will get a pre-boarding briefing on how to operate the controls and radios. They then get the controls for takeoff, climb, turns, decent and landing. They will recieve a logbook at the conclusion of the flight, which will have a signed entry from the Certified Flight Instructor for the flight lesson. This lesson actually counts toward the students license and never expires. Thanks.

I would like to buy this as a gift for my boyfriend he is 6' 8'' tall so I just want to make sure he will fit comfortable and have easy access to all the controls?

Unfortunately, we've found that students taller than 6'4" end up with their knees pressed against the instrument panel, so I'm afraid your boyfriend won't be able to fit in our aircraft. Sorry and thanks!
