LASIK and PRK treatments can help address visual deficiencies as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. During LASIK procedures, the doctor peels back a thin corneal flap and reshapes the cornea with a computer-guided laser. The flap is replaced and fused to the rest of the cornea, with eyes typically healing well enough to work after one day. PRK treatments are an option for patients whose corneas are too thin to create the flap, instead directing the laser to the surface of the eye. This Groupon covers the treatment plus two years of follow-up visitations. For an additional $500, customer can opt for the CustomVue treatment and for $1,000, customers can upgrade to the iLASIK procedure.
