Clients get to choose which 60-minute massage and facial they prefer, selecting from a service menu that includes deep-tissue massages and cleansing skin treatments specifically for acne (this Groupon is not valid for microdermabrasion). The purifying back treatment consists of a cleansing scrub, extractions, an enzymatic sea-mud or hydro mask, and an aromatherapy massage.

Chiropuncture

Like its name, Chiropuncture is a hybrid. Only the two distinct things the center combines aren't acupuncture and chiropractic—those practices often go hand-in-hand—but rather a holistic medical clinic and a traditional spa. The former is the domain of Doctor of Chiropractic Danny Lai, who has been running a chiropractic clinic since 1997, and has been a licensed acupuncturist since 2005. Dr. Lai sees each chiropractic patient personally, adapting his treatment regimen to the patient's specific maladies, be they arthritis and migraines or ADHD, anxiety, and insomnia. He speaks English, Vietnamese, and Spanish, so communicating with him is easier than talking to a fern that only knows Swahili.

The second side of the center, the spa, has some reassuring credentials of its own. It uses the popular Dermalogica line of products in its skincare services, which include a Power Regeneration treatment for mature skin and a revitalizing eye rescue that erases the dark circles that appear under eyes when you haven't had enough rest or have fallen for the old "inky kaleidoscope" trick again. The rest of the menu is a grab bag of waxing services, massages, and synthetic-lash and makeup applications.
