Choose Between Two Options

  • $16 for The Male Nail pedicure (a $35 value)
  • $22 for the Ultimate Autumn Feet Retreat treatment (a $45 value)

The Ultimate Autumn Feet Retreat uses pumpkin, which is rich in beta carotene and active enzymes, as well as clays and essential oils to renew and soften the tired skin on the feet, all while treating the senses to the warm aromas of autumn. The treatment is accompanied by a hot pumpkin-spice latte or cappuccino. The no-frills Male Nail pedicure takes just 30 minutes and soothes hard-working feet. It includes relaxing hydrotherapy, cuticle treatment, nail filing and buffing, and a moisturizing massage.

Sole Serenity Spa at Lakes Foot and Ankle Associates

Though it's tucked inside Lakes Foot and Ankle Associates, Sole Serenity Spa is anything but clinical. True, the staff members are all trained by a physician to give feet and nails the best care possible, but they also revel in the relaxation and decadence that a spa treatment can grant their clients. Beach-themed indulgent pedicures incorporate botanical sea-salt scrubs and cooling menthol moisturizers in massage chairs with an extended nail pampering treatment, and treatments tailored for diabetics call on sugary scrubs and lotions to grant a touch of sweetness without a spike in blood sugar. With each pedicure—using Dr.'s Remedy polishes enriched with tea-tree oil and wheat protein—clients can relax in their own personal room as their arches are massaged with deep moisturizers, further calmed by the knowledge that all of the equipment is either disposable or has been sterilized to surgical standards. For example, the staff tosses their disposable footbath liners into the pit of dragons out back after a single use.

Because the spa is supervised by physicians who specialize in foot and ankle care, the staff can truly tailor each pedicure for the health of each foot. But just because they boast more clinical knowledge doesn’t mean they skimp on the luxuries.

The Groupon Guide to: Famous Hats

Every historical figure of any significance wore a now instantly recognizable hat, synonymous with their name:

  • The Napoleon Hat: Military bicorn, worn side to side or "athwart" to serve as a better perch for enlisted falcons
  • The Benjamin Franklin Hat: Small brass beanie with a large conductive spire jutting out of it, topped with a small eyelet for tethering a kite
  • The Davy Crockett Hat: Famously a strict vegetarian, Crockett's "coonskin" was actually just a matted blob of reeds and buffalo chips that he moistened hourly from his canteen
  • The Hercules Hat: Just a minotaur skull

Honorable Mention: Jughead's "hat" from the Archie comics is actually a crown (?) made of gray paper (?) with miscellaneous shapes affixed to it. Details remain vague because it is proven that overscrutinizing Jughead's hat makes you go insane.

Which historical figure had the most famous hat? The answer may surprise you.
