During the one-hour tour, riders glide down winding, centuries-old streets, passing sites such as Market House and the homes of three Declaration of Independence signatories. After pausing to see the brick-and-stone façade of the Maryland State House, riders traverse the U.S. Naval Academy grounds to delve into the history of Gate 3 and the occupants of the crypts. Groups follow this same path for the first half of the two-hour tour, which eventually leaves historic downtown for Murray Hill, where they glide past opulent waterfront homes and limbo beneath low-hanging streetlights. Riders then explore the local park before heading to the historic city dock. At each stop along the tour, guides expound on the lives of those who lived there. Before each tour or rental session, staff teach customers how to drive, steer, and stay balanced on their segways, and equip them with mandatory helmets, bottled water, and earpieces for listening to the guide or piping in arena-rock anthems.

“We had a great time! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our guide during the structured part of the tour was knowledgeable of the area and pointed out some interesting places. It was also nice to have an hour on our own to explore the area a little more in-depth. This is something we will recommend to friends, and we'll definitely do this again!”
