Questions and Answers

I have about 50 8mm cassettes, some are full some are not and I can put them in order of years. How much would that cost? And what should I buy on this Groupon special?

Steve G. asked 7 months, 17 days, 7 hours, and 14 minutes ago - 1 answer

Nicole S.

Hi Steve! With the premium transfer, tapes that are two hours or less are transferred for $19.95. Tapes that are more than two hours are transferred for $19.95 for every two hours. Fifty tapes that are two hours or less would be priced at $997.50. I would recommend purchasing the $300 Groupon and then you can contact us at support@scandigital.com for a discount on the remaining balance. Thanks again for your interest!

Can I send you my wedding album or would you have to take it apart to do the scanning? Also, the photos in the album range in size from 4 x 6 to 8 x 10. How will that work?

ELIZABETH K. asked 7 months, 17 days, 7 hours, and 36 minutes ago - 1 answer

Nicole S.

Hi Elizabeth! If your photos are in albums, we scan photos that measure 8'' x 10'' and below for $.68 at 300 dpi or for $.88 per photo at 600 dpi. We will not remove the photos from the album if they are glued in. We will scan them on a flatbed scanner and crop around each photo for an individual file. You can view more information about photos in albums scanning at http://www.scandigital.com/album-scanning.php. Thanks for your interest!

I noticed your responses mentioning 'loose pictures'. I have a family album given from my sister and I had promised to convert the pictures to digital format. However, the pictures that remain (a lot were taken out and disappeared) are glued on the pages. Can your company work to remove so they can be worked? What would the additional extra labor cost approximately? There are about maybe 30 or so pictures. Also a few documents such as diplomas. Thanks, -Gael-

Hi, I have several 8mm tapes...most of which are 60 minutes in length. Do you fill up a 2 hour dvd with multiple tapes or would you make one dvd per tape (regardless of length). I ask because they are all out of chronological order and it would be odd to have a dvd of our kids when they were 5yrs old mixed with one when they are 15yrs old, make sense?

Marcie H. asked 7 months, 17 days, 7 hours, and 51 minutes ago - 1 answer

Nicole S.

Hi Marcie! Thanks for your interest in our deal! With the premium transfer, tapes that are two hours or less are transferred for $19.95.
