Groupon: Collective Buying Power

Nowhere does this explain what a "Premium Lower Level ticket" is. I have looked on this website and the DC website, and I see no tickets labeled this way. What does it include if it is "Premium". It appears to be only a lower level ticket, tier 3 price level.

If I buy more than one, will the seats be together? I am trying to go with other people, is there any way to guarantee seats together?

Meredith -- most of the seats in the lower bowl are "premium." The cheapest seats are labeled "spectator, and are in the corner." There are a few "VIP" sections. Then pretty much everything else is premium. I've sat most places in the stadium and there really isn't a bad seat. And the $16 price represents a pretty big savings even compared to the cheap spectator tickets. So this is about as good as a deal as you will get for a DCU match.

I see that we will need to pick up the tix at the will call window. Is there any way to pick them up in advance (to avoid a long line)? And, will it be possible to pick up tickets for the second game when we pick up our tickets for the first one, or will we need to wait in the will call line again? Thanks!

@ Sofiya and Prashant - It looks like you can buy one ticket for yourself and 9 gift tickets, so a total of 10 for a game (you can buy two tickets total for yourself, but there appears to be a limit of one per game). @Stacy and Jack - If you redeem your Groupons together at the Will Call window, your seats should be together.

I'm curious if there is any way to choose the seats we get. Will they be handed out at random, or distributed in order of awesomeness? I wish I could pick a group of seats rather than doing this Southwest Airlines style.

Is there a way to get tickets ahead of time once you purchased the groupon so that the line on game day is not ridiculously long?

I'll try to answer questions as best I can. @Meredith - Here's the seating map: http://www.dcunited.com/tickets/seating-map - everything in black is premium (all lower bowl). @Ben H, @Andrea & others - Currently, we'll only have will-call open the day of the game, but it will be Groupon-specific. We'll open more windows as sales increase. @Jack, @Stacy & others - Tickets will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis the day of the game. If you purchase a group (3+), we recommend arriving early to pick-up your tickets. While we can't absolutely guarantee large groups will be seated together, we'll make every effort to make it happen. @Andrea - If you purchase tickets to both games, you will only be able to pick up tickets at each individual game - in other words, you won't be able to pick-up tickets for the July 20 game at the May 4 game.

@Crispin - If you buy separately, but show up at will-call together, our staff should be able to hand you tickets that are next to each other.

Are the tickets on the rowdy fan side or can we ask for tickets on the other side of the stadium. I bought tickets the other day and got stuck on the fan side where we had to stand the whole time.
