Hello, I have a question regarding the exact Easter Holiday blackout dates, because it seems there are posts on the question forum that have different answers to the exact blackout days. For example, the earliest post I could find was stating March 30 and 31st as the dates we could not use the Groupon. But earlier today, 2 new question was answered with different answers; one in which it seem Friday the 29th is a date that we can use the Groupon, and the other answer states that the 29th is part of the Blackout date so we can't use them. So I hope I can get a clarification on the exact blackout dates. Since I bought the groupon based on the earliest answer that was provided and thought Friday was a date I could use on. Thank You.

The federal holidays are usually on Monday (memorial day, labor day, presidents day etc) We consider a regular weekend as Friday to Sunday, in case of a holiday that comes out on Monday, the holiday weekend will be Friday to Monday. In Easter case, the holiday is Sunday, therefor it is like a regular weekend, so the blackout dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope that helps.

If I leave on Thurs March 28th and return April 1st, is that allowed? I understand Easter Weekend is the 30,31st but the traveling would not affect those days. Thanks

Correct, the blocked dates for Easter weekend are March 29,30 and 31st. You are fine with leaving on the 28th and returning on the 1st

Hello, does the voucher become valid until 2/28? meaning we can start using it on 2/28? Also when we book our ticket, do we have an assigned seat or we can seat anywhere when we arrive? because will be traveling with my girlfriend and was hoping to seat together, but on your booking page it says Groupon can only be redeemed either one seat round-trip or 2 seats one way. Booking using the vouchers will start Feb 28th. There are no assigned seats and it's a first come first serve system. boarding usually starts 20-30 before departure time so as long as you and your girlfriend get in line early, you should be able to grab 2 seats together. As far as the redeeming of the groupong, each voucher can be redeemed agains a full roundtrip ticket for one person, or you can use it as 2 one way tickets for 2 people.

In order to travel on Friday you will need the $45 voucher. Since you are traveling with your daughter, you can buy 1 voucher for $45 and one for $35, use the $45 as 2 one way tickets for Friday and then use the $35 for 2 one ways on Monday

It depends on the time of your bus, some buses drops off at both Union station and Dupont circle, some buses are express to Dupont circle. When you choose your departure time and date, it will say next to the time also in which stops that specific bus is dropping off.
