My husband and I had our first lesson today with Sarge and had a great time! Sarge was wonderful to work with—very welcoming and patient and put us at ease as we learned the basic hustle steps. We had a lot of fun during the lesson and look forward to our next lesson later this week!

A three-decade veteran of the dance floor, Edward "Sarge" Sargent has taught students from Naperville to South Africa. In his newest studio, DeSarge Danceworld, Sarge specializes in private and group instruction for social and competitive dance. Beginner and advanced students can simply be looking for a new hobby or perfecting their first wedding dance. He teaches such styles as salsa, jitterbug, swing, country-western, bolero, and tangos both American and Argentine. Gold-qualified in American ballroom and Latin dance, Sarge was named the South African champion of rock-and-roll dance, to the envy of Elvis impersonators everywhere.

We had such a wonderful time. We never danced before. Other than swaying and trying.
In the 50 minutes with Sarge he made us feel comfortable, Had us doing the hustle by the time we left.
Wonderful just wonderful, going back tomorrow for round 2,

Great place for a first dance. My fiance and I aren't dancers.. we've actually never danced together. So it's actually our first dance haha. Anyways the instructor was great & very patient. Would definitely recommend, our 1 hour commute was definitely worth it.

My husband and I wanted to learn a dance routine for our daughter’s upcoming wedding. We didn’t have any prior ballroom dance experience, but our instructor was very patient with us, and by the end of our lessons we felt pretty confident in our abilities.

We had a lovely time at Desarge. Their dance floor is the perfect size! We both are newer to dancing and we had no issues picking up the dance. Our dance was for our wedding day. They customized the dance to our needs and had us choose our own music. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend Desarge Danceworld.

My partner and I had a salsa lesson by DeSarge. Our first each and we couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! DeSarge really knows his stuff and is a wonderful teacher to learn from. He made everything super easy. I would recommend anyone who is hesitant or wants to try to purchase from them! It’s an amazing deal and you work with fair, honest people. We will be coming back for more lessons.
