- $249 for a ghost tour and haunted overnight experience for up to four: redeemable Friday-Sunday only ($516 value)
The overnight experience begins at 7:30 p.m. with a twilight lantern tour of some of Plymouth's most haunted locales. Guests will get a chance to enter the last two haunted houses: the Captain Taylor House and the Task Museum. Once the tour has ended, guests will return to the Captain Taylor House where they will spend the night along with a tape recorder, EMF meters, a book of the house's history, a ouija board, and a ghost hunting checklist. A light breakfast will also be provided to guests after their night of ghost hunting, and visitors will get to take a cassette with their recordings home with them to review.
Dead of Night Ghost Tours
Dead of Night Ghost Tours' paranormal investigators lead tours of Plymouth's most haunted locations. Brave groups can wander the paths of Burial Hill and study tombstone engravings that date as far back as the 1600s, or wander the twisting streets down to the town square, rumored to be cursed by King Philip. Guests can choose from sunset tours that cast a romantic glow across the scenic cemetery grounds or opt for twilight lantern tours, where they navigate the spooky paths by shadow of night. Children's tours, meanwhile, offer age-appropriate spooks by combining daytime ghost hunting lessons with an investigation of two local houses that many believe to be haunted by the spirits of colonial-era termites.
